Time to share some exciting news:
We will be hosting the SRC Scottish Recovery College in January 2019. This will be the first roll out of the training course by members of the newly formed Recovery College Collective.
The Recovery College exists to build visible recovery activism in Scotland. Scottish Recovery College is designed to help Recovery Activists (Recoverists) build recovery groups, develop campaigns, initiate and support recovery communities while maintaining the values, cultures and practices of the Recovery Movement. In short it is designed so that participant can learn to take action in the community without losing their serenity or diminishing their emotional wellness, Recovery Capital and Resilience.
There are twenty available spaces which will be allocated following completion and receipt of application forms, which include a qualifying criteria. These will then be reviewed by the Collective and those selected will be informed of their reserved pace. (The college course will be delivered free of charge to the attending candidate but these student places do require to be funded by an over arching subsidising body)
These spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and if there is an over subscription precedence will be given to those applications received earliest, so if you are interested in attending we suggest you give the procrastination a kick and get your application in asap.
Closing date for the application will be Monday the 7th January. Successful candidates will be informed by the 11th of January in the same week.
